RESglide changelog: a dated record of what changed
When an official source changes, this is where we record the work. Each entry explains what changed, when it was detected, what happened to the affected practice content, and when a replacement went live. The date is part of the record.
“Always up to date” is easy to say and hard to prove. A public record lets you inspect the result. Some entries describe a content update; others record a review that found no change or a monitoring correction. A review with no content change still matters: it shows that a signal was read and adjudicated, rather than merely collected.
CPF OA usage table moved — reviewed knowledge remains live
Monitoring found that CPF's loan-type OA usage table had moved out of its FAQ. We captured the current table from CPF's educational guidance, rebuilt and reviewed the five supported knowledge statements, and carried the four linked practice questions onto the current bank-loan guidance. Unsupported old table combinations remain retired.
URA, HDB and BCA page updates reviewed — practice questions unchanged
Monitoring detected page-hash changes on the URA circulars page, HDB's Home Improvement Programme page and the BCA Green Mark overview. The current official pages still support all seven knowledge statements anchored to them, so no practice content needed updating for these signals.
HDB, BCA and SLA page updates reviewed — practice questions unchanged
Monitoring detected page-hash changes across HDB home-maintenance, flat-finding and transaction pages, the BCA Green Mark overview, and SLA pages. Exact-span review confirmed that all 13 flagged knowledge statements remain supported by the current official HDB and SLA captures; the other HDB and BCA checks found the live knowledge unaffected, and the SLA circulars page has no active knowledge anchored to it. No practice content needed updating for these signals.
HDB singles flat-grant page change — updated income ceilings live
Monitoring detected a material update to HDB's singles flat-grant and loan-eligibility page. The monthly household income ceiling for singles buying a 99-year lease 2-room Flexi new flat or a 2-room resale Prime flat is now $8,000; for resale Plus flats it is $16,000. There is no income ceiling to purchase a resale Standard (or unclassified) flat, although income ceilings still apply to qualify for CPF housing grants (excluding the Proximity Housing Grant) and HDB housing loans. We rebuilt and reviewed the affected knowledge and updated practice content on the current page capture.
Community Care Apartment lease rule updated for November 2026 BTO exercise
HDB's Community Care Apartments page now refers to the November 2026 BTO exercise for the 15–45 year lease range (in 5-year increments, covering the applicant and spouse until age 95). We updated the live knowledge accordingly and withdrew practice questions whose correct answers still cited the October 2026 exercise. Replacement questions are in independent review before they can go live.
HDB seniors flat-grant page change — replacement practice content live
Monitoring detected a material update to HDB's seniors flat-grant and loan-eligibility page, including a higher household income ceiling ($16,000, up from $14,000) and revised Community Care Apartment rules (age 55 for both Flexi and CCA). We rebuilt and reviewed the affected knowledge, carried practice content onto the new capture where the underlying rules were unchanged, and completed human review of the replacements for the changed income and age rules.
CEA submit-complaint page change — reviewed knowledge live
Monitoring detected an update to CEA's submit-a-complaint page. We captured a fresh copy, rebuilt the affected knowledge from the current page, and completed human review. Seven items on CEA complaint handling and related HDB Community Care Apartment resale timing are now live in the knowledge base.
HDB HFE letter page updates reviewed — practice questions unchanged
Late-August monitoring raised further hash changes on the HDB Flat Eligibility (HFE) letter page. The page was recaptured in chat-0088 and the prior false-containment case remains closed. The live rules our questions test — application steps, household matching, and validity — are unchanged, so no additional practice updates were required.
Monitoring watch lists refreshed after site moves
URA conservation, renting and GFA handbook page sets and the BCA Green Mark overview target were updated to match current site maps. These were configuration corrections only; no practice content changed.
URA business and change-of-use pages reviewed — practice questions unchanged
From 28 August, monitoring detected page-hash changes across many URA business-owner, change-of-use and development-control pages. Each was triaged against the knowledge base. No live knowledge unit was withdrawn on these signals, so no practice content needed updating.
HDB buying, selling and home-maintenance pages reviewed — practice questions unchanged
From 28 August, monitoring detected page-hash changes across HDB buying, selling, renovation, upgrading and news pages (excluding the seniors flat-grant remediation already in progress). Each was triaged against the knowledge base. No additional live knowledge was withdrawn, so no practice content needed updating.
CEA regulatory and practice pages reviewed — practice questions unchanged
From 28 August, monitoring detected page-hash changes across several CEA regulatory and practice-guideline pages (excluding the submit-complaint remediation already in progress). Each was triaged against the knowledge base. No live knowledge was withdrawn, so no practice content needed updating.
CPF OA usage page reviewed — practice questions unchanged
Monitoring detected a page-hash change on CPF's OA-usage-by-loan-type guidance. The page was checked against the knowledge base. No live knowledge was withdrawn, so no practice content needed updating.
HDB and JTC topics rebuilt after confirmed page changes — replacement practice content live
We withheld the affected knowledge on seven topics — HDB Executive Condominium conditions after buying, the HFE letter, Community Care Apartments, valuation reports, Request for Value, keeping pets, and JTC industrial property assignment — rebuilt them from the current official pages, and closed those reviews. Live practice questions now follow the current pages.
HDB, CPF, URA and other page updates reviewed — practice questions unchanged
From late July through 21 August, monitoring detected page-hash and navigation changes across HDB, CPF, URA, SLA, CEA and JTC pages. Each was triaged against the knowledge base. No live knowledge unit was withdrawn on these signals, so no practice content needed updating.
URA conservation guideline pages updated — practice questions unchanged
URA updated conservation guideline page chrome. We checked the live pages against the knowledge base. The building-types questions were put back; practice content is unchanged.
URA Conservation Guidelines (current page)URA renting and GFA handbook pages updated — practice questions unchanged
URA updated navigation labels on its private-residential renting pages and Gross Floor Area handbook. We checked the live pages against the knowledge base. Occupancy caps, the temporary relaxation running to 31 December 2028, and GFA handbook rules are unchanged, so no practice content needed updating.
URA conservation guideline pages updated — practice questions unchanged
URA updated conservation guideline page chrome. We checked the live pages against the knowledge base. The building-types questions were put back; practice content is unchanged.
URA Conservation Guidelines (current page)URA conservation guidelines moved — practice questions unchanged
URA moved its conservation guidelines to a new page tree. We checked every item in our knowledge base against the current pages and confirmed no changes were needed for our practice questions.
URA Conservation Guidelines (current page)Seven CPF and HDB page changes reviewed — no practice content affected
Monitoring detected changed page content on CPF's lease-age-95 guidance and six HDB pages covering Community Care Apartments, the HFE letter, home maintenance, renovations and upgrading. Each page was refetched and checked against the knowledge units grounded on it. No proposition used by a live question had changed, so no content needed to be withdrawn or rewritten.
HDB shops-and-offices and Request for Value review closed — practice questions available
We checked every item in our knowledge base for HDB's shops-and-offices pages and Request for Value guidance, and confirmed no changes were needed for our practice questions. Those questions remain available. Request for Value continues to follow the July 2024 guidance; a later empty recapture was not treated as a change to the rules.
Eight other HDB page changes reviewed — no practice content affected
Apparent changes on HDB's business-partner, commercial-property, Executive Condominium, financial-planning, rental, renting, selling and news pages were refetched and compared with the knowledge base. The review found no changed exam proposition on those pages, so their questions remained available.
Incomplete HDB and CPF fetches caught — temporarily held questions restored
Two source fetches returned sharply incomplete copies of HDB buying guidance and CPF loan guidance. The monitoring system initially treated those incomplete copies as substantive changes and temporarily withheld 165 questions. We verified that the official rules had not changed, restored every affected question the same day, retired the unusable generated drafts, and added a pre-withdrawal guard that rejects a fetched source if it collapses below half of its registered size.
URA change-of-use and HDB Community Care pages reviewed — no practice content affected
Monitoring detected apparent updates across three URA change-of-use and circular pages and HDB's Community Care Apartments page. We checked every item in our knowledge base against the current pages. No new change to an exam proposition was found, so no practice content needed updating.
CPF Home Protection Scheme rechecked — no rule change; three questions restored
A stale detector signal caused one supported knowledge unit and three linked questions to be withheld for rechecking. The current official CPF material still supported the rule verbatim. We restored all four records, cancelled the unnecessary replacement batch before it inserted anything, and added a byte-identity guard so an unchanged current source cannot trigger the same containment path again.
CPF Home Ownership guidanceSeven HDB and CPF page changes reviewed — no additional practice updates required
Between 20 and 23 July, monitoring raised apparent changes on HDB selling, housing-loan and renting pages and a CPF housing-scheme page. Each was refetched and compared with the grounded content. Apart from the separately recorded CPF and Community Care remediation, these checks found no additional changed exam proposition.
CPF housing and HDB Community Care guidance refreshed — replacement practice set live
Monitoring identified changes in the CPF housing-usage material and HDB's Community Care Apartments guidance. We withheld 67 affected questions before candidates could continue receiving them, captured immutable current source copies, rebuilt and independently verified the affected knowledge, and completed human review of the replacements. Ninety replacement questions — 65 standalone and 25 case-study questions — went live after review; the original affected questions remain out of circulation.
URA conservation and renting-property guidance restructured — reviewed, no exam content affected
URA reorganised its website and moved its conservation guidelines and private-residential renting rules to new pages, rewriting some of the surrounding text. We checked every item in our knowledge base against the current pages. The changes were editorial — reorganisation and rewording — with no change to any underlying rule: the conservation restoration parameters and the private-residential occupancy caps (including the temporary relaxation running to 31 December 2028) all still read exactly as our questions assume. We confirmed no changes were needed for our practice questions.
URA Conservation Guidelines (current page)Housing and Development (Common Property and Open Spaces) (Amendment) Rules 2026 — reviewed, no exam content affected
Checked HDB, URA, CPF, CEA, IRAS, and 39 tracked Acts via Singapore Statutes Online for changes since the knowledge base was built. One new piece of subsidiary legislation went live 15 July 2026: the Housing and Development (Common Property and Open Spaces) (Amendment) Rules 2026. It covers vehicle clamping and towing fees on HDB estates, which is outside the RES syllabus, so no questions or knowledge units needed updating.
